Those previous series (1,2 &4), stores received a surplus of them. That literally isn't remotely close to how much stores should've been supplied with. I personally find it ridiculous a lot of stores realistically received 0. As a lot of us know - a lot of stores got little to absolutely nothing. Stores that actually had a fair amount got hit with online orders and I want to say most didn't have the chance to see messages that stated Do not fulfill these orders. None of those cards were supposed to be sent out the previous day. Our point of view: Whoever the fuck managed to get in online orders fucking somehow truly fucked everything up. Due to the weird shortages of this series, this fucked over literally everyone. which essentially forces the consumer to keep buying fucking packs for the probability to get ONE singular variant of card that may or may not be a dupe. Once you've collected all of the villagers, the only thing left are these special cards. This current sets RNG is fucking horrendous. Nintendo makes these a bitch to fucking complete though without needing to drop mad money on these cards. I personally have a completed collection of Series 1 through 4 and a complete set of the Welcome Amiibo cards as well. In a customers point of view: A lot of us die hard Animal Crossing fans really enjoy collecting these. To provide some more insight on these cards since I'm on both ends of this stick.
